Don’t Lose Your Song

As I was in intense worship one night, singing new songs to the Lord out of a deep place within my spirit, I could sense the delight and attention of the Lord in that moment. It was as if I locked eyes on Jesus and could see Him in the spirit realm but with my natural eyes, it was such an extraordinary moment and I wept for hours. In that moment, I heard Him say so clearly to my spirit, “NaVonna, don’t lose your song.”

As I ministered to the Lord in that moment, He began to minister back to me and remind me that the songs we sing hold significant weight and power. It doesn’t only create power over our lives but over our loved ones and those who we will minister to. There is power to set captives free in your song!

We have the privilege of preaching the gospel and seeing the captive set free when we follow the leading of God to write the book, sing the song, make the videos, share the testimony, pray the prayer, and step out in faith. Remember, we walk by faith and not sight so don’t be discouraged if what you’re seeing in the natural isn’t aligning with what you’ve seen in the spiritual. What God has shown you will come to fruition, keep believing for it.

Your voice is needed in this hour and you are here for such a time as this so be encouraged and don’t allow the enemy to muzzle your voice. One thing the enemy is here to do is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10) but we can be thankful that we have Jesus Christ who has come to give us life abundantly so we overcome any derailment of the enemy. I charge you to take a stand and refuse to let your voice and influence for the Kingdom of God be silenced. One thing I say often and with great conviction is that I won’t be silent for God because He wasn’t silent for me! I let that encourage me when I feel like I’m up against a glass ceiling, unable to break through because of the warfare in the spirit.

We each have a sphere of influence and we can boldly proclaim the name of Jesus in incredible ways thanks to the reach of technology so use your voice! You are called to the earth for this exact time and you can make a difference wherever you go. So stay encouraged and don’t let your voice be silenced. Cast everything before the Lord and allow Him to release your voice where you are appointed to release!
